Keep seedlings in light or dark ?

I have the jiffy professional greenhouse. The directions say to keep out of light until all seeds have sprouted. Now I have some that are up to the top of container and some that aren't up at all yet. Other websites say that I should keep them in light at all times. Confused to what I should actually do. First time flower grower and would like to have some results. =)
